Taipan

Overview

Taipan is a robust, versatile exterior luminaire developed for urban streetscapes and landscaping applications. The fixture is fully submersible and extremely durable, with IP68 and IK10 ratings. With a core body of only 35mm, this recessed version is an ideal solution for where a small but powerful in-ground uplight or wall-recessed luminaire is required.

Available with a range of lenses from spot to wide, as well as a medium oval (14°x40°) and a frosted diffuser, the Taipan can be configured to achieve a multitude of light effects. The RGB version and fixed colour outputs offer further capacity for fulfilling creative designs.

Taipan operates using constant current if configured as dimmable, whereas the non-dimmable configuration is constant voltage. The non-dimmable constant voltage versions have an in-built sensor and self-regulating voltage function, ensuring consistent light outputs across multiple fixtures in extended runs, nullifying the impact of voltage drop on illumination outcomes.
